Hi! I am
Kelsey Richardson

With over a decade of experience in international curriculum development and educational management, I have worked around the world to promote quality education. My work in Palestine, Norway, Jordan and currently Slovakia takes a data-driven approach to instructional policy. In every place I have worked, I welcome new challenges and opportunities to progress *winks to camera* as a teacher.

PEDAGOGICAL APPROACHES

As an educator and administrator, I strongly prioritize the  following learning methods: 1.) experiential learning, 2.) interdisciplinary unit planning, and 3.) project-based inquiry. Utilizing these methods can prove effective when developing independent critical-thinkers.

RESEARCH INTERESTS

I am interested in exploring the cultural challenges families may have when engaging in international education. I examine cultural capital and multilingualism within the international classroom and their impact on student identity as well as parental support. I am passionate when it comes to using data to inform policy and curriculum when building inclusive and cultural relevant education.
